Saving the booking card and QR to your phone / adding it to your calendar

After reading this you will have the booking card image in your album for check-in and a reminder in your phone's calendar

Last updated 2026-09-10 · app version 0.1.0

After reading this you will

have a picture of the booking card (code + QR) in your phone's album, usable for check-in even if the browser is closed or the link is lost.

The system sends no SMS or email; the booking lives only at the link that opened after booking. The save button appears when the status is “Confirmed” or “Under review”, and “Add to calendar” when it is “Confirmed”.

Top to bottom, the booking page shows: the “← venue name” link (back to the venue) → the “Booking card” heading → status badge → step bar → status banner (e.g. “Booked!”) → the card itself (venue logo, opening hours, booking code, QR and a “Booked via TABLEZUPS” footer line; the card stays white even in the dark theme) → the “Save booking card image”, “Add to calendar” and “Change table” buttons · the saved image is the card only

Steps

  1. On the booking card, tap
Phones open the share sheet / desktops download booking-XXXXXX.png
  2. Phone: choose “Save Image” in the menu that appears
The picture is in your album (the page says “Choose ‘Save Image’ in the menu that appears — it will be in your photo album”)
  3. No share sheet? You'll see the image full screen with “Press and hold the image, then choose ‘Save Image’”
Press and hold the image and save it
  4. Keep this page's link too (bookmark it or send it to yourself on LINE)

This link is your key to view and edit the booking — don't share it

You can check the status and edit later

Add to calendar (a reminder before the release time)

While the status is “Confirmed”, an button sits under the save button. Tapping it offers one event for your phone's calendar (iPhone shows its “Add to Calendar” sheet right away · Android downloads an .ics file — tap it to open in Google Calendar · computers get booking-XXXXXX.ics for your calendar app).

  • The event spans the night's opening hours, is titled “Venue · Table A1”, and carries a reminder 2 hours before the release time (release 20:00 → reminder 18:00). The venue sets these times.
  • The event details hold the booking code, the table and the booking link — your calendar becomes one more place that keeps the link, so don't share the event.
  • The “Google Calendar” link under the button works on any device (opens Google Calendar's new-event page).
  • If you change table or the venue changes the booking later, the calendar does not update itself — tap “Add to calendar” again (most calendars replace the old entry). The booking page is always the source of truth.

Opened inside the LINE / Facebook app

In those apps “Add to calendar” opens Google Calendar instead of a file, with the note “This in-app browser can't open calendar files — use Google Calendar or open this page in Safari/Chrome”.

Those in-app browsers cannot save files. The page says “This in-app browser can't save images directly — press and hold the image, or open this page in Safari/Chrome from the ⋯ menu at the top right”. Do either:

  • Press and hold the image shown, then choose “Save Image”
  • Open this page in Safari/Chrome (⋯ menu at the top right → “Open in browser”) and tap save again
