find a table that fits your party on the night you want, read the colours on the floor plan, and tell the venue in advance what you need.
Steps
- Under “1. Choose a night”, tap the chip for the night you are coming
Chips show only nights the venue has opened for booking and whose “booking cutoff” has not passed · an event night carries its name in small print under the date, and its deposit may differ from other nights (check the amount in the review box before confirming) · after midnight until early morning (before 06:00) still counts as the previous day's “night”
→ The chosen chip turns dark and the plan below switches to that night - Under “2. Choose a table on the floor plan”, set “How many people?” with the − / + buttons
The counter starts at “–” (not set); tap + to start counting · 1–20 people · tables that are too small or too large fade out (“Free but not the right size”) · you can leave it unset while browsing — the page then says “Showing all n free tables” — but it must be set before “Review details”: the party size is saved with the booking so the venue can prepare the table; if it is missing you see “Choose how many people” and the page scrolls back to the counter · you may still pick a table of another size; the review box only warns (“This table seats 4–6, you chose 8 — you can still confirm; the venue will sort it out on the night”)
→ The line under “How many people?” says “n tables free” or “Not an exact fit, but n tables seat you” - Tap a green table on the plan (phones start at 1.5×; 1× / 2× available, and you can scroll)
Prefer a list? Scroll to “Or pick from the list”, grouped by zone (a note from the venue, e.g. a minimum spend, may sit under the zone name) · the plan refreshes itself every 10 seconds, so a table that just freed up turns green on its own · the bottom bar hides while you type in the form (so it never covers the field) and returns when you leave the field
→ The bottom bar shows “Table A1 · 4–6 people” - In the “3. Booker details” form there is a “Requests / special occasion (optional)” field — type what you want the venue to know
e.g. “birthday, near the stage” or “arriving 22:00” · one line, up to 200 characters · the venue sees it on its “Tonight” screen and at check-in, but it is not a promise — the venue does what it can on the night · you can edit it later from the booking card (Edit name, phone, party size or requests)
→ The text appears in the review box and on the booking card

Free nights
When the night chip / venue page says "Free booking, no deposit", the review box reads "No deposit — booked the moment you confirm" and the button is "Confirm booking (no deposit)" — tapping it opens your booking card at once, with no countdown.
Venues with several periods
The venue page may list several periods, e.g. “Café 08:00–16:00” and “Bar 19:00–01:00 (bookable)” — only the period marked “(bookable)” takes online bookings; the others are walk-in, ask at the door · the booking card and the calendar entry refer to the bookable period only.
