order from your phone by scanning the QR on the table, see whether the kitchen has your items, and know when to pay.
Venues with online ordering have a QR on the table (or staff show one on their screen). Scanning opens that table's menu on your phone — no sign-in, no app, your own internet.
- Scan the QR on the table→ A “Table A1” page with the menu of the current period — if it says there is no bill yet, tap “Open a bill and order” (pay-first venues) or ask staff to open the table (sit-down venues)
- Tap an item → options / quantity / note → “Add”
- An unsent cart is kept on your phone — close the page, rescan the QR or come back within 6 hours and you will see “Restored n unsent items to your cart”; check it and tap “Send order” · items that sold out or left the current menu are removed and counted · a closed or lapsed bill clears the cart
- Closing the tab with an unsent cart: some browsers ask first (iPhone does not, but the cart is still there when you scan again)
→ The cart sits at the bottom; adjust quantities before sending · a bar at the top reads “n items not sent yet” with a “Send order” button and stays on screen until you send - Tap “Send order”
- Pay-first venues (cafés): after sending, pay by PromptPay right here (scan the QR for the amount due → transfer → “Attach slip”, verified with the bank at once) or at the counter — the kitchen starts by itself the moment the slip verifies (no staff tap needed), and this page then shows your queue number
- If the slip is not accepted (short amount / other account / old slip) the page says why; attach again or show this screen to the staff to confirm · money counts only once the slip is verified or the staff confirmed
- Sit-down venues (pay later): no slip needed — the page says “Pay the staff when you are done” and shows no PromptPay QR · some venues allow paying ahead from this page; then the “Pay by PromptPay” box appears as at pay-first venues, and you can still pay the staff instead
- Order more any time until the bill is closed · your items carry a “yours” tag; you also see what others at the table ordered
→ Pay-later venues (bars): the kitchen gets your order at once — “being prepared” → “ready”, updating by itself · Pay-first venues (cafés): items show “waiting for payment” until you pay by PromptPay here (slip verified) or at the counter, then the kitchen starts · once paid you get your queue number at once, the bill closes by itself and the receipt appears here · unpaid for 15 minutes (from your last order) the bill is cancelled — the page shows a countdown

If the page says “Received — waiting for the venue to confirm” instead of “Being prepared”, or warns that the venue’s cashier device is offline, the system has your order (and payment) but the venue’s device is not running yet — the kitchen starts once it is back. Ask the staff before transferring money, or tap “Call the venue” in the warning (shown when the venue has a contact number).
Payments stay on the page
While a slip is being checked your items read “waiting for the venue to confirm payment”, not “waiting for payment”. The Payments box (PromptPay paid · verified / being checked / failed) stays on the page in every state — queued, closed or lapsed — as your proof; the “Order sent — pay…” note disappears as soon as the bill gets its queue number, closes or is cancelled. A closed bill shows a “View receipt” button. When the timer runs out the page says “Payment time is over — this bill is about to be cancelled” and the send button is disabled; attaching a slip you already transferred keeps the bill alive.
Venues without fixed tables (counter service)
These venues show one counter QR (not tied to a table). Scan → “Start ordering” opens your own bill; order from your phone, then pay by PromptPay on the page or at the counter by reading out the 4-character bill code shown on screen (there is no table number) · the kitchen starts after payment and you wait for your queue number · scanning again offers “Back to your order” while the bill is open · scanned outside hours or in a staff-served period, the page says when phone ordering is back, lists every period and links to the venue page
